Dont fall for latest phone scam Niagara Fraud Unit

If you have received a text message telling you that your phone company wants to reimburse you, don't fall for it, it's a scam.

The NRP Fraud Unit has received several reports of a refund scam that has been circulating through text message. 

The message says you are entitled to a refund due to overpayments and provides an Internet link to proceed.

You are being asked to ignore the message and not follow the link.
