U-S President Donald Trump is reinstating a ban on transgender individuals serving in the military.
Trump made the announcement on Twitter -- saying he decided on the move after consulting with generals and military experts.
He adds the military can't be burdened with what he says are ``the tremendous medical costs and disruption'' that transgender members would entail.
Military chiefs recently announced a delay on allowing transgender people from enlisting but transgender troops are already serving openly in the military after the Obama administration lifted the ban last year
