Are you wondering when our local drive-in theatres will open?
It was last weekend the province announced drive-ins could begin to reopen, but so far the two in our area remain closed.
A spokesman for Premier Theatres, which owns a number of Ontario drive-ins, including the Starlite in Stoney Creek tells the Spec, they aren't opening until the concessions are allowed to start serving.
Peter Boros noting concession stands are their number one revenue generator.
Canview in Thorold, has not said when it plans to start showing movies again, a note on its website simply says "Opening Soon."
