It's not often police lay a charge of crowding the driver's seat, but that's what happened last week when a motorist was caught with an unusual travelling companion.
OPP say they got a call about a woman spotted driving outside Stratford with a large parrot on her shoulder.
Police stopped her and laid the crowding charge which comes with a minimum $110 fine.
Officials say its also a reminder that having any unrestrained animal in a car can be a distraction.
