Drivers asked to avoid Thorold Stone Road in Niagara Falls today

The city of Niagara Falls advising drivers of lane restrictions on a section of Thorold Stone Road today.

A water main break means Thorold Stone Rd will be reduced to one lane, eastbound from Montrose Rd to Rolling Acres Dr.

There will also be water interruptions  between Montrose Road and Rolling Acres Dr. for next 6-8 hours.

 The city warns water may be slightly discolored and off taste after the interruption, this will disappear shortly after resuming use of the water.

Running your cold water tap only in the lowest possible location in your residence will help resolve the problem.
