Police in Niagara Falls have seized over $30,000 dollars worth of drugs in a raid on a Mitchell Avenue home.
Police entered the home just after 6:00 yesterday evening, and attempted to arrest a suspect
Officers say before fleeing the scene the suspect deliberately broke his cell phone and tried to get rid of some cocaine.
The suspect was captured a short time later.
A search of the home turned up $20,000 worth of cocaine, $10,000 worth of heroin and a small amount of prescription medication.
Police also seized a 40 caliber semi automatic pistol and some ammunition.
Facing drug and weapon charges, 27 year old Michael Tewolde.
