The District School Board of Niagara is weighing in on the government's plan for elementary students to go back-to-school full-time and in-person in September.
Director of Education at the DSBN, Warren Hoshizaki tells CKTB he's relieved they now know how to move forward with planning.
He says they have a 4-5 month supply of PPE for staff members, and they will have cloth masks for students who don't have one.
Masks are required for grades 4-12.
Hoshizak says the DSBN will move forward with a mix of in-person and online learning for high school students.
He believes high school students will go into school two days one week, and three days the next, with work to complete at home on the days they are not in-class.
