A Dutch court has convicted a man wanted in Canada in the cyberbullying of 15-year-old Amanda Todd, the B-C teen who later committed suicide.
The man identified in court documents as Aydin C. was convicted and sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison for cyberbullying dozens of young girls and gay men.
That is the maximum sentence.
The 38-year-old pretended to be a boy or girl and persuaded his victims to perform sexual acts in front of a webcam, then posted the images online or threatened to do so.
