A couple is taking the Hamilton Children's Aid Society to court, and it's all over the Easter bunny.
Derek and Frances Baars allege two young foster children were taken from their home in December of 2015 because they refused to tell them the Easter bunny is real.
The Baars telling the CBC, they refused on religious grounds, adding truth telling in every area of life is important.
The couple will argue the Children's Aid Society violated their freedom of conscience and religion under the Charter of Rights.
