Efforts to recover the body of a young boy who drowned in Lake Erie have resumed.
Nine year old Alex Ottley was swept into the frigid waters of the lake at Peacock Point, near Port Dover, over two weeks ago.
The OPP gave up an extensive search of the lake last week after their efforts failed to locate the young boy.
But members of the Kitchener based Advanced Tactical Training Search and Rescue Team are picking up where police left off.
ATTSAR members were out yesterday searching the shoreline and using drones in an effort to locate Alex.
If the weather cooperates a dive team from Manitoba is expected to comb the waters today
Another dive team from the U.S. has offered to help with the search tomorrow.
