Emergency Crews were called out at Jordan Harbour this afternoon.
The call came just after noon from a driver on the QEW that said they saw someone go through the ice near the Jordan Harbour.
Officials went to the scene but did not find anyone in distress.
The NRP Marine Unit are on the ice searching for anyone and speaking with the ice fishermen who are there to try to determine who, if anyone at all went through the ice.
We will update as more information comes in...
This comes as the Niagara Regional Police Marine Unit just came out with a message to stay off the ice.
Officials say the sudden rise in temperature plus the recent wet snow is resulting in dangerous conditions on the ice.
