This year's Emmy nominations will be announced this morning in Los Angeles, where "Game of Thrones'' is seeking to claim the awards-show version of the Iron Throne one last time.
The HBO fantasy saga could be in the running for television's top dramatic honour for its eighth and final season as it looks for its fourth win.
Other drama series vying for top honours include "Killing Eve'' starring Ottawa native and last year's best-actress nominee Sandra Oh, along with "Bodyguard'' and "This Is Us.''
"Veep'' is in the hunt for its final trophies after wrapping its seven-season run, as is "The Big Bang Theory,'' which ended this year after 12 seasons.
