Emergency responders in Norfolk County have saved another life by using Naloxone.
OPP officers and Paramedics arrived at a Middleton address just before midnight on Wednesday, finding a 28 year old man suffering from an apparent opioid overdose.
An officer and paramedic gave him three doses of Naloxone before the man started to regain consciousness.
The man was then taken to hospital for treatment.
This comes less than a week after OPP officers used the life saving substance to save a Simcoe woman twice within 24 hours.
Naloxone can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, giving victims more time to access medical assistance.
