The Niagara Anti-Racism Coalition along with the St. Catharines Islamic Society, have organized an event to commemorate the first anniversary of the Quebec City Massacre.
The multi faith event is set for this Saturday, January 27th at the Al Noor Masjid Mosque in St. Catharines starting at 7:00 pm.
In a release, the group says the event will feature a conversation of reflection and hope as it marks the 2017 mass shooting at the Islamic Cultural Centre in Quebec City.
Several men were killed in the attack and dozens more were injured.
Alexandre Bissonnette has been charged with six counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder.
His trial is expected to begin in March
