An extreme cold warning is now in effect.
Temperatures will fall rapidly tonight, reaching bone chilling lows. Once the wind chill is factored in, it could feel like -31 in Niagara.
The extreme cold will continue until Saturday morning.
Everyone is encouraged to cover up - frostbite can develop on exposed skin in only a few minutes.
Pet owners are also reminded if it's too cold for you outside, it's too cold for your pet.
