Plenty to do around Niagara on Family Day. Here is the list of activities:
St. Catharines:
-Free skating from 11 to 1 at the Seymour-Hannah Sports Centre
-Free swimming at various times at Kiwanis Aquatic centre plus free games, crafts and family activities from noon to 5 PM
-Bring the family to Pete the Cat and Emily Brown and the Thing at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre- All tickets $15
-Also at the PAC, free family activities in the lobby including free puppet workshops with Carousel Players and free animated short
films at the Film House, from 10 AM to 3 PM
Niagara Falls:
-Free public skating will be held in Rink #1 and Rink #3 at the Gale Centre from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and will feature face painting and
magic tricks.
-Family Bounce and Family Gym from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and an open swim 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the YMCA
-Winterfest at Heartland Forest from 11 am to 3pm
-No One Goes Hungry Family Day Cook Off from 3PM to 7PM at Firemen’s Park.
Welland:
-Family fun and activities at the Wellness Complex from 10 AM to 2 PM
-Free skate Welland Arena 10 AM to 2 PM
Port Colborne:
Three days of fun, Friday, Saturday and Monday at the Vale Centre including an active camp, family activities and free skating
Pelham:
Free public skate 11 -12:30, free laser tag 11:30 to 12:30 and the Golden Boot hockey game – all at the new Meridian Centre
Wainfleet:
Free public skating Friday, Feb. 15 from 1-3 PM and again Family Day from noon to 1:30
Fort Erie:
Free SK8 at Jaycee Arena from 2-3:30
Lincoln:
-Free skate Jordan Arena 10 Am to 1 PM
-Free skate Fleming Arena noon to 3 PM
West Lincoln:
Free public skating, Kids craft station, Mad Science Show, W.L.M.H.A vs West Lincoln Firefighters hockey game- all at 177 West Street,Smithville
Grimsby:
Celebrate Family Day at the Peach King Centre from 1-4 PM with free skating, crafts, games and other fun family activities
Thorold:
Free skating at the Thorold Community Arena from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. and again from 2:00 - 3:30 PM
