The City of Welland invites everyone out for a free screening of Disney's Moana.
The City's LED Big Screen will be the home of the Big Movie Night - an event to bring more families to Welland's downtown core and stimulate the economy.
The film series began after 3,000 Wellanders gathered in August of last year to watch the live broadcast of the Tragically Hip concert.
Viewers are welcome to bring their own snack along with their chairs, but dairy free ice cream will also be available to buy.
The movie will be shown this Saturday starting at dusk.
If Mother Nature doesn't cooperate the movie will be shown in the Community Room at Civic Square.
Meanwhile over in Fort Erie families 'arrrr' invited to a free movie night as well.
Fort Erie Central Firefigher's Shows in the Sugarbowl will feature Priates of the Carribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Popcorn and water will be available while supplies last.
The movie starts at dusk in Sugarbowl Park at the Kinsmen Pool.
And Grimsby will also be hosting a family movie night in Coronation Park on Friday night.
Residents can bring a blanket and stretch out under the stars as The Boss Baby plays on a giant inflatable screen.
