Fatal crash in Welland remains under investigation

Still no charges in a fatal crash in Welland Friday night.

Police continue to investigate and ask witnesses to come forward after a two car crash claimed the life of a 17 year old boy.

Emergency officials were called to Moyer and Grassy Brooks Road around 6:30 Friday night after a Dodge Caliber and Honda Civic collided.

The 17 year old male victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a 17 year old female passenger was airlifted to an out of town hospital.

Two other occupants in one of the vehicles, a 25 year old female and 20 year old male sustained minor injuries.

The 20 year old driver of the Civic was not injured.
