Fatal motorcycle collision in Wainfleet

A 54 year old man from Oakville has died after a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in Wainfleet.

Police say the Oakville man was driving a motorcycle southbound on Wellandport Road around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. At the same time a 28 year old man from Dunnville was driving a pickup truck westbound on Willford Road.

The two vehicles collided at an intersection and the motorcycle driver was thrown, suffering fatal injuries.

Reports say the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
