As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, a call for residents to help Fill an Ambulance in support of Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
Staff and volunteers with St. John Ambulance will be out front at the Real Canadian Superstore on Louth Street tomorrow from 11 am to 3 pm accepting donations of non perishable food items.
The items most in need are canned fish, potatoes, rice, noodles, cereal and sauce as well as canned fruit, pudding cups, baby formula diapers size 4,5,6, along with Pull-Ups.
The ambulance service noting Community Care distributes 4,000 pounds of food daily, and the need for food does not take a vacation.
