A decision on whether Ontario students will return the classroom this year will be made next week.
The province's schools were ordered to close for two weeks following the March Break, but that order has been extended multiple times and is now slated to last till the end of May.
Premier Doug Ford said yesterday that a final decision on the school year is coming.
“I know next week we will be announcing that. We just want to look at the numbers again"
Education Minister Stephen Lecce has previously stated that students will receive final reports cards regardless of what happens and indicated the school year would not be extended.
