Toronto firefighters rescued a man last night who became tightly wedged in a narrow space between two buildings.
The unidentified man was trapped in the gap for about five hours.
It's not yet clear how he became stuck, but it's thought he may have squeezed into the gap to try to retrieve something.
The opening between the buildings, on Sherbourne St. near Queen, was ``no more than eight inches wide.''
Rescue workers spent about two hours cutting through a wall to reach the man
He was finally pulled out and taken to hospital to get checked out.
