The Welland Fire Department is on the scene of a house fire on Thorold Road near Northhaven Road.
Calls were first made to officials around 11 o'clock this morning.
When crews arrived there was smoke and flames coming from the home.
There's no word on what start the blaze, or if anyone was hurt.
