A family of five has been displaced after fire ripped through their St. Catharines home.
It happened last night on Ida St.
Deputy fire chief Dave Upper tells CKTB's Matt Holmes fire broke out in the kitchen.
He says the family was cooking and left the stove unattended.
Damage is between $75,000 to $100,000.
There's no word on when the family will be able to return home.
