Fire crews spent the evening battling a stubborn barn fire in Fenwick.
Smoke from the fire spread as far away as Welland, after flames broke out yesterday evening in the barn on Welland Road.
Fire officials say there did not appear to be any animals in the barn at the time.
No word on the cause.
