Arson is suspected as the cause of a fire at a downtown St. Catharines cafe.
Fire crews were called to the Bistrobar Cafe on St Paul Street early Monday morning.
Tenants living on the second floor of the building had to be evacuated.
Fortunately no one was injured.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the 1 District Detective Office or Detective Constable Jukosky #8422.
