A fire at a former steel plant in Lackawana continues to burn.
Flames broke out in the building at the former Bethlehem Steel plant early yesterday morning.
A section of Route 5 is expected to remain closed until this afternoon.
Fire officials say it's been hard for them to get water on the actual fire because of the size of the building.
So far they have used over 2 million gallons of water fighting the flames.
Originally it was believed a lightbulb fell on combustible materials sparking the blaze, but as of last night, fire officials insisted no official cause had been determined.
Air quality is being closely monitored in the area.
All schools in Lackawana are closed for the day.
