Twenty-five people are dead, more than 100 are missing, and thousands of homes have been destroyed in wildfires across California.
The three fires began Thursday -- one in northern California.
The fast-moving blaze covering 404 square kilometres has torched more than 6,700 buildings, most of them homes.
The other two fires are burning in the southern part of the state, covering more than 280 square kilometres between inland canyons and the Pacific Ocean
Houses from ranch homes to celebrity mansions have been torched.
About 250,000 remain under evacuation orders.
