Mike Schreiner has become the first Green Party legislator to be sworn in at Queen's Park.
Schreiner, who is the Ontario Green Party's leader, made history when he easily won his Guelph riding during last month's provincial election.
The 49-year-old Schreiner took the brief oath of office at Queen's Park in front of dozens of supporters.
He said it's been a tough fight to get his party into the legislature, but believes he can help shift policy and make an impact.
