The Ford Government is rolling out their fall preparedness plan one step at a time.
Today, they announced a $70 million dollar investment that will result in 5.1 million doses of flu vaccine ordered and more being sought.
Getting the flu shot is the first pillar of the Ontario pandemic plan.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there will be high-dose flu vaccines available at some pharmacies in addition to family doctors for seniors.
Premier Ford says the province is rolling out the plan slowly because they "don't want key messages lost " if they deliver the full plan at once.
The rest of the plan will be rolled out over the coming days.
