Premier Doug Ford has commented on why Niagara is sticking at stage one of the plan to reopen the province.
Ford says cases in Niagara ramped up by 15% at one point last week and that was 'staggering.'
He says he understands the majority of cases were in migrant workers, but they need to ensure cases remain low consistently.
Ford says he was told his medical team contacted all local public health units, and he didn't realize Niagara had not been contacted directly.
He says now is not the time to point fingers, and instead a time to work together.
Ford says every community staying at stage one will receive a call, and they will review the decision weekly.
