Premier Doug Ford says an independent M-P-P who took part in a protest today against COVID-19 restrictions should know better.
Randy Hillier briefly joined about 30 protesters outside the legislature demonstrating against the extension of the provincial state of emergency until June 30th.
Ford says he's shocked and disappointed that Hillier would attend the rally, which violated a ban on gatherings of more than five people.
He says Hillier's actions are irresponsible when COVID-19 is trending down in the province because people are supporting measures to contain the spread of the virus.
