The Ford government has announced a big cash infusion to help deal with the province's affordable housing crisis.
The Premier announcing one billion in funding to deal with overcrowding, safety, and long wait lists for social housing.
In a release Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark says "Our government believes Ontario families shouldn't have to live in buildings with crumbling walls, leaking roofs, and broken elevators."
The province will also allow social housing providers to reject tenants who have been previously evicted for criminal activity.
