It looks like Niagara Falls would have lost out on a university campus, even if the city had won the bid to host one.
The Ford government announcing it is cancelling three university expansion projects in a bid to save more than $300 million.
The previous Liberal government had approved expansion plans for Ryerson, Wilfred Laurier and York University.
Niagara Falls had bid to get the Ryerson campus expansion but it ultimately went to the city of Brampton instead.
