Municipalities are bracing for a blow from the province.
The Ford Government is moving ahead with its controversial funding cuts to public health and child care.
Premier Doug Ford is expected to make the announcement later today at a meeting of municipal leaders in Ottawa.
The new plan will see all municipalities pay 30 per cent of public health care costs and 20 percent of the cost of creating new child care spaces beginning January 1st.
The Premier is also expected to announce changes to land ambulance funding.
The province is defending the move, saying the cuts are needed to combat the deficit.
