An Ontario Liberal leadership candidate has issued a policy paper saying the former government led by Kathleen Wynne lost touch with people's concerns.
Former cabinet minister Michael Coteau says the Liberals also lost the last election because they appeared arrogant and aloof by not apologizing for their mistakes and fixing them.
Coteau adds the current government of Premier Doug Ford has squandered public trust and confidence faster than the Liberals.
He is promising as Liberal leader to strive for a more civil tone in the legislature and to eliminate the use of government resources for what he calls ``blatant political propaganda.''
