Ford is recalling about 2 million F150 trucks after reports of fires sparked by seat belts.
No injuries have been reported at this point, but there are reports three trucks were destroyed in fires.
Ford says driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners are at the heart of the problem - excessive sparks can ignite gases inside a support beam, spreading flames to insulation and carpeting.
The company has received at least 6 reports of either smoke or fire from Canada and another 17 from the United States.
The recall covers Ford F150 Regular Cab and SuperCrew Cab from 2015 to 2018.
