Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford is promising to scrap the Liberal government's controversial sex ed curriculum if his party wins the election next month.
Ford says he's been told by parents that they were never properly consulted about a curriculum that teaches children ``too much and too early.''
He says a P-C government would get rid of the program and replace it with a curriculum that would be age appropriate and implemented only after what he says will be ``real consultation'' with parents.
Ford says he'd also scrap E-Q-A-O tests and replace them new, improved testing, would go back to basics for the math curriculum and would ensure publicly-funded universities that he says have been restricting political views allow free speech on campus.
