Prosecutors are reviewing the role of a former N-H-L player in an on-ice melee involving the Buffalo youth team he coaches and a team from Hamilton.
A video posted on YouTube appears to show Andrew Peters, who was born in St. Catharines, shoving a player from the Hamilton team backward onto the ice on Saturday during the brawl.
Buffalo police were called in to investigate and the 36-year-old Peters has been suspended indefinitely from coaching Buffalo's 15-and-under team.
He admits that fighting in youth sports is unacceptable and he didn't do a good job communicating that to his team.
