The former nurse accused of killing eight patients in her care and attempting to kill four others will appear in a Woodstock court today.
There are new questions about whether or not any of Elizabeth Wettlaufer's alleged victims could have been saved.
The Toronto Star reports it has obtained documents that show Wettlaufer was fired from the Caressant Care home in Woodstock for a medication error in March of 2014.
Her firing was reported to the College of Nurses.
But Wettlaufer continued to work as a nurse until she was charged with murder last October.
She's accused of killing 75-year-old Arpad Horvath in London, five months after she was fired.
She is also accused of the attempted murder of patients in September 2015 and August 2016.
The documents reportedly show that the college received the termination notice and was considering what action to take.
