A St. Catharines city councillor and former Tory MPP candidate will be running for a place on Regional council representing St. Catharines.
Sandie Bellows announced her decision during the Niagara In the Morning Roundtable with Tim Denis and Tami Jeanneret.
Bellows touched on many issues locally that had been cornerstones of her provincial campaign.
"I'd like to work with seniors, look at the police services, public health, housing. There's a lot of issues and I just want to give my heart to it all."
Tomorrow is the last day to file nomination papers to run for municipal government or as a school board trustee.
