A Hamilton lawyer is taking his case against the Ontario Conservative Party to court.
Vikram Singh, who lost the nomination to represent the party in the Hamilton West Ancaster Dundas riding, is alleging voter fraud and ballot box stuffing.
Singh names PC leader Patrick Brown, party President Rick Dykstra and several others in his notice of application for a judicial review.
The applicationĀ asks the court to overturn the result of the May nomination process that saw Singh lose to 25 year old Ben Levitt.
Singh along with another candidate Jeff Peller had asked the party to review the results, but were denied.
Nomination votes in two other Ontario ridings were also the subject of controversy, but those appeal were also wiped away when party leader Patrick Brown certified the winner in each riding.
