The Town of Fort Erie is backing a Feasibility Study by the Greater Fort Erie Community Hub Task Force Steering Committee.
Council is trying to determine what services and programs residents would like to see and how the town could support a community hub.
Volunteers with the task force submitted a successful application for $75,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to help fund the study and cover the cost of a Community Developer.
McLean Consulting will be talking to local organizations and hosting public sessions in late November and early December to gather feedback.
An online survey is also available at www.gfehub.ca
The public sessions will be held:
- Thursday, November 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crystal Beach Fire Hall
- Saturday, December 1 at 2:30 at the Crystal Ridge Library – Community Room
- Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stevensville Memorial Hall
