A protestor is facing an assault charge after an altercation near Brock University.
Police say they were first called in around the lunch hour yesterday about a man protesting on university property who needed to be removed.
Two hours later police were called back to the school after learning the protestor had taken his demonstration to the Glenridge Avenue area across from the East Academic buildings.
The man, who was carrying a large sign and had a megaphone, quickly drew a small crowd.
A fight broke out between the demonstrator and a male spectator.
The man from the crowd ended up suffering facial injuries requiring emergency dental work.
39 year old Frederick Bracken of Fort Erie is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
