Fort Erie voters have re-elected Wayne Redekop as mayor.
Redekop beat Stephen Passero and George Jardine for the top job with 56% of the vote.
Redekop has served the Town of Fort Erie since the early 90's.
First, he was councillor from 1991-1994, then mayor from 1997-2006.
He was then re-elected as mayor in 2014.
Redekop has been a practising lawyer since 1977 with local law firm, Jones, Jamieson & Redekop.
Fort Erie has 6 wards, each with one councillor.
Ward 1 elected George McDermott.
Ward 2 elected Nick Dubanow.
Ward 3 elected Kimberly Zanko.
Ward 4 elected Marina Butler.
Ward 5 elected Don Lubberts.
Ward 6 elected Ann-Marie Noyes.
Besides the mayor, Fort Erie elects one regional councillor.
Tim Insinna won the position from Sandy Annunziata, who is also Chair of the NPCA.
Voter turnout in Fort Erie was 41%.
