A Fort Erie woman has been arrested following an investigation into fraudulent activities involving Ontario Works payments.
NRP say the investigation centered on a period of time between April of 2016 and July of 2017 involving over payments of about $8800.
On Monday a 36 year old woman was charged with fraud over $5000.
She was released on a promise to appear in court in February.
Police are not releasing the woman's name as it would violate her privacy in being a recipient of government assistance.
