Four Niagara Falls football players have been found not guilty of sexual assault.
The four teens were charged in August of 2016 with raping a girl after an alcohol fueled party in St. Catharines.
The court hearing the girl forced her way inside the boy's car demanding they drive her to her boyfriend's home in Thorold.
The victim, however, testifying she passed out in the car, and woke up with her pants and underwear around her ankles.
But the judge ruling in favour of the boys, dismissing the charges.
The Niagara Falls Review reporting the judge told the court, "This is an area in which judges have come under criticism in the past, but we must remember a drunk person can have the required capacity to consent to sex. The person can even be quite intoxicated and still have that capacity."
