It's a historic day in France, where the country's youngest-ever president is taking office.
Emmanuel Macron has been inaugurated at the Elysee presidential palace in Paris, where he was met this morning by his predecessor Francois Hollande.
The two men met in the president's office to discuss the most sensitive issues facing the country, before Hollande departed in a black sedan.
Macron will meet with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo later today, then visit Berlin on Monday
