Suspected fraudulent activities at a long-term care home in Niagara has resulted in charges against a 41-year-old Hamilton woman.
In October 2019, the Niagara Regional Police Central Fraud Unit launched an investigation at a long term care home located in Lincoln.
Investigation revealed the facility entered into a contract with the Director of Divine Home Care, a company that provides temporary personal support workers.
However, police say some of the PSW's were not certified.
NRP charged Diana Ojesebholo with fraud over $5,000 and 3 counts of uttering forged documents.
The charges in the 2019 matter were withdrawn by the Crown, and a peace bond was entered in October of 2021.
