Bill S-203 will undergo a clause by clause review by the House fisheries committee today and there is word a New Brunswick Liberal MP is proposing several technical amendments.
Green Party leader Elizabeth May says if any of those amendments are passed it will force the bill to go back to the Senate where she says it will die there.
The Ending the Captivity of Whales and Dolphins Act was first introduced in 2015 but gained little traction.
